Yeah, as of today (tomorrow at the latest) my new map will be put through beta testing. Whoehoe. Took me quite some time to get this far, but i think the result is worth it. It has become an snowy map with an oil theme. I mean i put some oil pipes through the map and i'm going to add some oil pumps around the map. Need to make them first though ;) . The tracks are normal asphalt roads for the most part, but at one time you need to drive of the road to follow a dirt track. This track leads to a frozen river where you have to drive over some ice. Very slippery indeed. I'll just post some screenies here so you'll get an idea of what it looks like.

A new version was released yesterday. It contains a map of my (offcourse IslandrushCPR) and even my model; the hummer which was finished by Osiris. I also made a texture pack with textures from subverse and made some buildings. Now i'm working on an ice map, and the basic track layout is done. You have to drive a part over a frozen river so this will be very slippery. That's it for now, so enjoy.

 

 

The map i was working on, US-IslandRushCPR, is almost finished, i had some setbacks during design but it's going to be beta-tested soon, so that's good news. I already began with the next map, it's going to be a snow/ice-themed map in some forests.

I also began with some modeling, a car. It's going be my first model since quite some time. In the past i tried Milkscape 3D and fooled around with it a little, but i never did anything with the model i made. Now i'm using Gmax to model the car.
